Dr. Amanda F. Leong, DDS PC

Dr. Amanda Leong is a dedicated and experienced dental professional committed to providing exceptional patient care. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Michigan in 1999 before completing a one-year General Practice Residency at the Detroit Veterans Hospital. Following her residency, Dr. Leong practiced in Virginia before relocating to the Bay Area with her family. She joined this practice in 2004 and has since become an integral part of the Alameda community.
Dr. Leong is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and Alameda County Dental Society (ACDS). She is committed to ongoing
professional development and regularly participates in continuing education courses to stay at the forefront of advancements in dental care. Known for her gentle approach and excellent clinical skills, Dr. Leong takes great pride in delivering high-quality dentistry in a comfortable and welcoming environment. She is dedicated to ensuring that patients receive the best possible care tailored to their individual needs.
Outside of her professional practice, Dr. Leong enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has a passion for travel and cycling, embracing an active and well-balanced lifestyle.

Dr. Para Gehle, DDS

Dr Gehle graduated from OHSU in 2001 and practiced in Scottsdale, Arizona as well as Atlanta, Georgia before relocating to Alameda in 2008. In order to keep abreast of the rapidly changing dental environment, Dr Gehle, has attended a wide array of continuing education classes. She attained her Invisalign certification in 2012, and has since completed over 700 cases. To complement her clear aligner training, she enrolled with Progressive Orthodontics https://posortho.com/ in 2018. Progressive Orthodontics is a 14 month program that offers comprehensive orthodontic training to general dentists. In 2019, she received certification on the Bioclear method https://www.bioclearmatrix.com/why-bioclear/.

With respect to restorative dentistry, her philosophy is one of minimally invasive dentistry. She has taken multiple courses through the IDEA institute https://ideausa.net/ in order to integrate modern adhesive dentistry concepts into her practice. Currently, Dr. Gehle is supplementing her Orthodontic training to address OSA as well as TMD.

To keep up with the demands of a challenging career as well as a mother of two children, she stays fit by practicing Yoga and running. Alameda provides the perfect environment for balancing family life while enjoying the beach and having easy access to and amazing views of San Francisco.

Dr. Jin Hoon Lim, DDS

Dr. Jin Hoon Lim, DDS is a dedicated general dentist serving the Bay Area. He graduated from the prestigious Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania before pursuing his passion for dentistry through the accelerated dental program at the University of the Pacific. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the renowned Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Since graduating, Dr. Lim has been committed to providing high-quality dental care with a patient-centered approach. He continuously seeks to expand his knowledge by staying up to date with the latest advancements and trends in dentistry. His ability to listen to each patient’s individual needs and create a calm, relaxing environment helps make every visit a comfortable experience, even for those with dental anxiety.

Beyond his professional career, Dr. Lim is an avid violinist and a proud member of one of the most prestigious amateur orchestras. Fluent in both English and Korean, he takes pride in connecting with a diverse range of patients and ensuring clear communication in their dental care.
